Could Slot Machines be in Nebraska's future?

The Group filed three petitions with the Secretary of State's office. This first is a constitutional amendment that permits Nebraska communities to authorize gaming. The second is a petition to establish a gaming commission. The third is to establish and allocate a tax on gaming. The Co-Chair for Keep the Money is Nebraska is Greg Robinson. He says, "Nebraska needs this because the state budget is suffering."
In order to get the idea of gambling in Nebraska on the ballot, 110-thousand signatures must be collected by July.
