A Primrose woman was killed Monday afternoon when her vehicle crossed the center line of State Highway 91 and hit an oncoming pickup.
The Nebraska State Patrol said the vehicle driven by 45-year-old Tina M. Patzel first sideswiped the pickup and then hit the trailer it was pulling.
The accident happened at about 2 p.m. two miles west of Humphrey.
Patzel was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup was not injured. Patzel was wearing a seat belt.
Patzel's death is the tenth fatality on Nebraska highways and roads in 2004.
