The Three S's

It was anything but easy for Lincoln drivers. The snow started to fall Sunday and continued all day Monday. Monday morning drivers had their hands full as they tried getting around the capital city. Residential streets were snow packed and at intersections drives had to deal with snow made barricades.

Mark Hawkins of Lincoln kept the car in the driveway, "no use getting the car out and getting it stuck."

Another Lincoln resident was also out and about on foot. Raymond Simmons was out braving the cold helping drivers that got stuck in the drifts out.

Simmons says he helped three vehicles get out, "keep them out of the way so they don't make a cluster."
