For the second time in just 10 days Lincoln is hit hard with snow. Four to six inches blanketed the Capital City, add that to the foot of snow already on the ground from a previous snow storm.
Lincoln road crews have been working around the clock clearing a path for drivers. Employees have been working 12 to 18 hours a day and with a anticipated snow storm later this week employees are bracing for the worse.
The snow emergency was cancelled at 6 p.m. Monday night. A snow emergency means there is no parking on emergency snow routes, bus routes or major arterials. There is no residential parking ban, however city crews urge residents to not park on the streets so they can get in and clear them.
