A Chadron couple was killed Wednesday morning when they lost control of their vehicle along icy Interstate 80 one mile west of Brady.
The State Patrol in North Platte said 63-year-old Robert Broberg was eastbound on I-80 when he went into the median. He came back up and collided with an eastbound tractor-trailer.
The 11:15 a.m. accident also killed Broberg's wife, 58-year-old Ida Broberg.
The patrol said the Brobergs were both wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
