Their services are typically reserved for natural disasters like hail storms and tornados, but near record snow fall totals across the Midwest over the past month has pressed State Farm's casatrophe team into action.

Team members arrived in Lincoln last week to help the claim center catch up with their work. Normally, the Lincoln center handles 10,000 calls per month, but since the year began claims have jumped 20 percent.

Disaster team members say their more than happy to spend a month in Lincoln to lessen the Lincoln Center's workload.
