Kearney's biggest empolyer had no probelms with understaffing in this week's snowstorm.

Paul O'Connell, the director of emergency services at Good Samaritan Hospital, says it was "business as usual."

He says some of the one-thousand-seven-hundred-43 employees were not able to get to work because of the weather the past few days but others who live in Kearney filled in.

O'Connell says some nurses packed their bags in anticipation of being stuck at work, but they weren't stranded.
