Two Nebraska football players are ticketed following an early Saturday morning party.
Captain Lee Wagner of the Lincoln Police Department says 20-year old offensive lineman Richie Incognito was at a party at Claremont Apartments, just north of the UNL campus, when he assaulted 3 people.
Police say shortly after 1:30 A.M. Saturday, Incognito hit two people inside the apartment where the party was held. Incognito hit a third person on the sidewalk outside the apartment. Incognito was ticketed for 3 counts of assault.
A second Husker, 20-year old redshirt fullback Grant Miller, was also cited for one count of assault for hitting someone at the party.
Incognito, who has a reputation for having a temper, was suspended from the football team for part of the 2002 season for unspecified reasons.
