Tiger Cubs Exhibited

Three seven-week-old Indochinese tiger cubs at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha have been introduced to the world.

The three cubs have been nursing with their mom behind the scenes until Tuesday when the zoo released them to be exhibited in the zoo's Cat Complex.

The cubs were born Dec. 23 after the mother and father cats were brought to the zoo from Malaysia.

Zoo officials say the three cubs are wobbly but find great fun in jumping on their mother.

They will be weaned off their mother's milk in a few weeks when they change their diets to meat.

The tigers are part of a genetic diversity co-op program with the Omaha and San Diego Zoos and the Bronx Zoo Wildlife Conservation Society.
