The State Patrol says more than 47 homemade explosives and more than 90 boxes of illegal fireworks have been taken from a garage in southern Lancaster County.
A tip led Lincoln police to the site Friday.
Patrol Lieutenant Colonal Robert Thorson says the garage was deteriorating and explosives were laying everywhere. Thorson says it was a dangerous situation.
The patrol says the explosives belonged to a person who rented the garage and possible charges are pending.
State Patrol spokeswoman Deb Collins says she does not know what the person planned to do with the explosives.
