A Wood River volunteer firefighter remains in critical condition today (Monday).
Grand Island's St. Francis Medical Center says Ken Woitalewicz remains there for treatment of his injuries when part of a burning Wood River house collapsed on him and fire Captain Robert Heminger.
Heminger died from his injuries. Also killed was 73 year old Anna Carrig. Heminger and Woitalewicz were trying to rescue the woman when the burning house collapsed on them.
Flags are flying at half-staff today in honor of Heminger
