Residents celebrated their 14th Annual Spring Wing Ding this weekend to honor the arrival of hordes of snow, blue and whitefront geese.
The event began in order to encourage people to visit the town and witness the spring waterfowl migration. The festival features bus tours to local marshes, educational seminars and an evening banquet.
Coordinator Susan Rohrer said the workshops are a great way to get young and old to work together.
