More than 86-percent of the money Nebraskans have contributed to the 2004 presidential race has gone to the re-election campaign of George W. Bush.

That's according to Political-Money-Line, a nonpartisan campaign finance tracking service.

Nebraskans have given a total of $784,000 to presidential candidates. Of that, Bush received $675,000.

Financial reports through January show that likely Democratic nominee John Kerry raised just $7,500 in Nebraska.

That is less than fellow Democrats Richard Gephardt, John Edwards, however, were filed before Kerry notched most of his extraordinary run of the primary and caucus wins to all but lock up the Democratic nomination.
