Omaha police are identifying the victims of an overnight shooting as 33-year-old Maria Ojeda and 36-year-old Daniel Lopez.

Officers were called just before midnight about shots being fired in a South Omaha neighborhood. Responding officers then found a sport utility vehicle a few blocks away.

Inside were four people, including two injured by gunfire.

Police say Ojeda had been shot in the back and Lopez was shot in the head. Both died at an Omaha hospital.
