Diocese Abuse Report

The report was assembled as part of a national survey commissioned by lay Catholics and done by the John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

Charlie Wieser - editor of the Catholic Voice 0 said the Omaha report also will detail the number of victims who have made complaints of abuse, as well as the costs associated with abuse covered by the archdiocese's insurance carrier.

Dioceses around the country have been re-releasing their own reports in advance of planned Feb. 27 release of the final report.

That survey was commissioned by the National Review Board - the lay watchdog panel the bishops formed in response to the molestation crisis.
