The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office is investigating the discovery of suspicious bones. The department is determining whether or not the bones are human remains.
A section of Old Cheney Road near Denton was barricaded as investigators worked Sunday night and Monday.
Bob Oglesby says his 15-year-old son Daniel and his son's friend, found the bones. Oglesby went to check it out and thought the bones looked like human remains. That prompted him to call authorities.
Authorities say the rain has made it difficult for investigators. Once the bones are collected, they will be sent to the state lab for processing.
