An NU marketing team is using their clever slogans and strategies to compete for a chance to pitch their ad campaign to a national corporation.
Wednesday, some of those students did part of their project with the help of fellow students.
The goal is to find out what strategies and slogans get students interested in types of cars.
The NU marketing team has come up with slogans like the "NU Revolution," a take off of GM's American Revolution.
This project is part of their internship for General Motors. The team is competing with four other universities nationwide.
UNL Marketing student Jaime Patera says, "It's different than an other project because it's real experience. We get to see the research side, the campaign and events side, instead of the textbooks."
The university that places first will get to go to Dallas and present their ad campaign to General Motors.
