Members of the Sheridan Lutheran drama group have been re-enacting the story of Christ's passion for the past five years. This year they say the pressure to follow the Mel Gibson movie has added another dimension to an already emotionally draining performance.

Greg Bodtke plays the role of Jesus in this year’s production. He says watching the silver screen’s version puts his performance in prospective and makes the experience more emotional.

The Sheridan Lutheran drama club will depict the Last Supper Thursday night and the passion on Good Friday.
