A trial date is set for a fourth person accused of being involved in the death of a North Platte teen-ager.
Eighteen-year-old Schuyler Racek of Lexington was arraigned in Dawson County District Court Tuesday. Judge James Doyle set a trail date for June 8.
Racek is charged with felony child abuse, second-degree criminal trespassing and procuring alcohol.
The charges stem from events that led to 13-year-old Vanessa Casillas' death in a Overton grain elevator Aug. 8, 2003. Reports say alcohol was a factor in Casillas' fatal fall.
Eighteen-year-old Hayden Hunt of Overton and 20-year-old Salvador Casillas of Lexington also were charged in the girl's death.
Hunt's trial is scheduled to begin April 13. Salvador Casillas with stand trial May 11.
