A 21-year-old Wahoo man has died from injuries he suffered when the all-terrain-vehicle he was operating crashed in Saunders County.
Saunders County Sheriff Chuck Lacey says Mitchell Hanke was driving an ATV Saturday on his grandfather's property near Ceresco. Lacey says Hanke was crossing the farm driveway when he lost control and flipped. Hanke was not wearing a helmet and received a serious head wound.
Lacey says it could have been more than 30 minutes before Hanke was found by friends. Hanke was taken to a Lincoln hospital where he died.
