A Lancaster County Court trial is under way Monday in Lincoln for Nebraska offensive lineman Richie Incognito on three assault charges.
The six-foot-three, 310-pound sophomore allegedly hit two people at a February seventh party in Lincoln. He is accused of hitting another person outside the apartment where the party took place.
Each count is punishable by a fine of between $200 and $500, and a jail sentence of up to six months.
Redshirt freshman fullback Grant Miller also was charged with one count of assault for an incident at the same party.
