A 7-year-old Lincoln boy is dying of brain cancer. He has one last wish before he dies.
Tyson Zimmer wants to hear from his favorite country star, Jason Aldean, and it looks like that dream is coming true!
Tyson got some good news Monday. The Make-a-Wish foundation is sending his family to Disney World next week, and a package full of autographed memorabilia was sent to Tyson from his favorite country star, Jason Aldean.
In addition to the autographs Tyson also got 4 tickets to see Jason in Concert and backstage passes. The family is planning to go to see Jason Aldean in concert in Illinois May 11th or 12th after they return from Disney World, but they need help coming up with the air fare.
You can help Tyson by buying a $5 a "Say~Fight~Cure" Tyson wristband at Froggy98 at 4343 O Street.
"I sing big green tractor because that's my favorite song of Jason Aldean," said Zimmer.
The country star's biggest fan might just live in Lincoln, Nebraska. Friends, family and other celebrities are on a twitter mission to get Aldean's attention.
Tyson's mom, Liz Duering says, "If Jason Aldean even just sent a video message that would make his day big time."
Jason Aldean did just that Monday. Click on the link on the left to view what he had to say.
Tyson has medulloblastoma. Doctors removed a golf ball size tumor in 2011 but the cancer is back.
"They all say with this type of relapse it's incurable they can give them chemo, they can keep doing it, but it just gives you a little more time but he won't survive," said Duering.
