A head-on collision in eastern Nebraska has left one woman dead and another injured.
The Saunders County Sheriff's office says 37-year-old Chantelle Wiemer of Stromsburg died in the Friday evening crash just east of Yutan.
Investigators say Wiemer was driving a pickup headed westbound on the Nebraska Highway 92 bridge over the Platte River around 5:30 p.m. The truck collided with an eastbound sport utility vehicle driven by 32-year-old Nina Papousek. Authorities didn't immediately disclose Papousek's city of residence.
Wiemer was pronounced dead at the scene.
Papousek was listed in fair condition Saturday at an Omaha hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
