Lincoln police arrested two brothers Monday morning after catching them breaking into cars near 53rd and Colby Street.
Officer Katie Flood said an officer spotted the pair in the area riding bikes wearing all black.
Flood said it looked like one suspect was riding around the area acting as a look-out while the other rode around a car looking inside.
Flood said the officer approached the pair and they took off. The officer followed them both until they jumped off their bikes and tried to run.
Flood said the officer caught 27 year old Charles Danzcak right away. Another officer with his dog tracked 24 year old Travis Danczak to a yard at 56th and Madison where they found his coat with pill bottles, cds, and a glass case stolen from a car in the area.
Flood said other officers spotted Travis walking nearby and arrested him.
Flood said officer also found debit cards and gift cards, including one stolen 11-11.
Charles Danczak was arrested for failing to comply and criminal possession of a financial transaction device.
Travis Danczak was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, 2 counts of possession of stolen property and failing to comply.
Police are still trying to determine how many cars were broken into in the area and how much was stolen.
