Students are mourning and praying Wednesday after learning two classmates at Elkhorn Senior High School were killed in a traffic accident.
A third student at the school was driving the car.
Douglas County Sheriff officials say the car's driver failed to yield at a stop sign, and the car collided with a pickup at about 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Sheriff officials say none of the students were wearing seat belts.
Steve Baker, assistant superintendent at Elkhorn Public Schools, says the community is dealing with a tragedy.
Fifteen-year-old Nickolas Alfrey of Elkhorn was killed at the scene last night. Fifteen-year-old Kayla Wilkins of Omaha died early today.
Sixteen-year-old Corena Stigge of Elkhorn, who was driving the car, was treated and released at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
