Omaha-based Millard Lumber has purchased the former National Crane property in Waverly.

Millard will use the 52.68 acres to consolidate its operations it currently runs at four Lincoln sites.

President Rick Russell announced the move on Friday. The move means the company will reassign about 125 employees from Lincoln.

Russell says he expects the transaction to close by June 1st, and that Millard Lumber will then immediately begin making changes to the site. The entire Lincoln operation will be in Waverly by December 1st.
