Operation Noble Eagle is the Defense Department's homeland security missions.

The Army Reserve soldiers of the Lincoln detachment produce strategic and operational intelligence in support of national defense.

The Army Reserve says a farewell ceremony will be held Sunday afternoon in Lincoln for the unit.

The Army did not specify how many soldiers were involved in the deployment.

Also Saturday in Omaha, the second annual Yellow Ribbon Motorcycle Run will be held to support U.S military troops. A $25 registration fee includes food, a T-shirt and more with remaining proceeds going to the Friends of the Family Support Center at Offutt Air Force Base.
