Tornados raked parts of rural Nebraska Sunday night as severe thunderstorms moved into the central part of the state and swept eastward.
A tornado near Cushing in Howard County tore the roof off of a pole barn, overturned a delivery van and uprooted trees.
A Howard County dispatcher says power was out to all of Cushing.
Dispatcher Carol Williams says she has no reports of injuries from the tornado, which moved within about 25 miles of Grand Island.
Hall County reported power lines down in some areas and a grain bin blown across a road just north of Grand Island. Tree limbs also were littered across several streets in Grand Island.
In northeast Nebraska, the National Weather Service reported a tornado in Holt County.
A sheriff's dispatcher confirmed a tornado had been sighted. However, she said she had no other information and declined to comment on possible injuries and damages.
