Lincoln City Libraries and the Nebraska Indian Commission today hosted the third annual American Indian Heritage Read-In. The event featured Native American readings.
"We have invited guests from the community who have selected items to read that are by or about Native Americans. They are going to share those readings with us", said Sheila Jacobs, Lincoln City Libraries Outreach Supervisor.
Jacobs said the goal of the event is to educate and enhance people's understanding of a culture that might not be their own.
