Another North Platte High School teacher has been suspended over reports of showing students a video of the beheading of U.S. civilian Nicholas Berg in Iraq last week.
The school says the suspensions for both teachers are with pay and are for the remainder of the school year.
Any further disciplinary action will be determined later.
The school has declined to identify the teachers.
Through a press release, school administrators say the showing of the video is, quote, "inappropriate and could have psychological and emotional effects on adolescents. Television networks have chosen not to show it for the same reason.
