Charles Fieldgrove, 48, of Litchfield, Nebraska will serve between 36 and 40 years in prison after being charged on four counts of fist degree sexual assault. He was sentenced to four consecutive sentences, of nine to ten years in each sentence. His sentence has been reduced by 48 days for time served and he must pay all of the fees involved in his case.

Fieldgrove was found guilty last month in a Sherman County District Court on four counts of First Degree Sexual Assault. The records show the incidents involved a minor.

In addition, two people have been sentenced in the kidnapping of a Loup City woman. The Sherman County Sheriff's Office said 23-year-old Christopher Mueller and 19-year-old Lisa Punteney on charges of kidnapping and use of a weapon to commit a felony. Punteney was also charged with making terroristic threats. All these are felony charges.

Muller will serve two to three years in prison at the Dept. of Corrections in Lincoln. He will receive a 36-day credit for time served and must pay all of the fees involved in his case.

Punteney received a harsher sentence. She will serve four to five years in prison at the Women's Dept. of Corrections in York. She will receive a 167-day credit for time served and must pay all of the fees involved in her case.

Mueller and Punteney were charged with kidnapping a 19-year-old Loup City woman at gunpoint in April. The victim lead investigators to the suspects.
