Two firefighters fallen in the line of duty were honored Friday morning at the Nebraska State Volunteer Firefighters School in Grand Island.
Both firefighters were killed after a roof with hundreds of pounds of snow and ice collapsed above them. The memorial featured the two men's uniforms and a slide show of their funeral.
Almost two thousand firefighters from various parts of the state came to attend the school and see the memorial.
