At least two tornadoes hit northeast Nebraska on Friday, but no injuries were reported.

At least two farmsteads were damaged by a tornado near Hadar, about seven miles north of Norfolk.

Weather Service meteorologist Becky Adams says the tornado was one of two that hit in the area. One was reported at about 8:20 p.m., following another that was reported about a mile away at 3:35 p.m.

Lonnie Luikens says his house, garage and a utility shed on his property one mile north of Hadar were damaged. He estimated damage to the house at 30 to 40 thousand dollars.

Adams says there were several reports of wind damage and large hail from the storm that ran through central and northeast Nebraska.
