One man is dead after a freight train collides with his truck.
The Dawson County Sheriff's Office says 36 year-old Manuel Galvan-Ledo of Lexington was killed after his Dakota truck was struck by a Union Pacific train.
At about 3:20 P.M. Saturday, Galvan-Ledo was southbound on Road 430 about 3 miles west of Lexington, when his vehicle was hit by a westbound train. Galvan-Ledo was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.
Galvan-Ledo was not wearing a seatbelt.
