Here at home, hundreds paid tribute to those who've served and are serving our country this Memorial Day.

A special ceremony was held at Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln. The traveling Vietnam Memorial was on display.

Soldiers past and present were honored with a flyover by the National Guard's 155th Refueling Wing, and the playing of Amazing Grace.

Norm McBride of Lincoln stopped to visit the Wall That Heals. The Vietnam Veteran remembered dozens of fellow soldiers that died.

"I was an infantry medic so I had a lot of guys die in my arms over there, 39 all together from the time I was there," says McBride.

A balloon release followed the ceremony at Wyuka, one balloon for each of the soldiers lost in the War on Terror.
