Police have arrested a 24 year old for operating an illegal tattoo parlor in his apartment and for giving tattoos to underage girls.
Officer Katie Flood said Justin Clark was arrested Thursday for the incident that happened January 2. Flood said three 14 year old girls and one 13 year old girl lied to their parents about where they were spending the night Saturday and went to Clark's apartment instead.
Flood said Clark gave each of the girls a tattoo on their hip and also gave them a punch containing alcohol. Officers served a search warrant at Clark's home at 4431 Holdrege Wednesday and seized four tattoo machines, seven bottles of ink and other tattoo related equipment.
The health inspector confirmed that Clark did not have a proper permit to give tattoos.
He was cited for four counts of child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a minor as well as several violations relating to tattoo parlors and minors.
Those include:
1-Body Art Establishment Permit Required
2-Body Art Practitioner Permit Required
3-Body Art Restrictions Minors
4-Liability of Operator of Body Art Establishment
He was also arrested for a warrant in another county.
