Lincoln City maintenance crews continue to stay busy working on the city streets filling in the potholes.
City Roads Inspector Andrew Edwards said with the warmer temperatures and clearer weather around 8 to 10 crews are out daily filling the holes.
Edwards also said potholes are not the only hazard drivers are seeing on the roads thanks to early morning fog that is freezing at night that is creating black ice.
Black ice is a layer of ice that appears as dry road surface. However, potholes and black ice are not related but a common occurrence in winter months.
