Patron Assaulted and Robbed Outside Cappy's Bar

Tyrone Gaskins was arrested for being and accessory to a felony.
Michael Carter was arrested for robbery.

Lincoln police say a patron was assaulted and robbed Tuesday night outside Cappy's Hot Spot Bar & Grill.

Officer Katie Flood said a 24 year old man was leaving the bar around 11:30 pm when two men that had been inside confronted him in the back parking lot.

Flood said one of the men kicked him in the head and stole his wallet. The victim said he knew the men from inside because he was talking to their girlfriends, and that's why they attacked him.

Flood said the bouncer at Cappy's witnessed the assault and got the suspect's license plate number. The vehicle was stopped just before 1:00 am near 48th and Madison. Michael Carter was arrested for robbery and Tyrone Gaskins was arrested for being and accessory to a felony.
