Vice President Cheney to Visit Nebraska

By  |

Vice President Dick Cheney will make a visit to Lincoln for a Republican Party fundraiser.

Cheney will be the featured guest at a breakfast fundraiser supporting First Congressional District candidate Jeff Fortenberry on June 18.

Fortenberry is running against Democratic candidate Matt Connealy for the seat being vacated by Doug Bereuter in November.

Cheney will be returning to his hometown of Lincoln, where he was born in 1941. Cheney was in Omaha last July for a fundraiser that netted $400,000 for President Bush's re-election campaign.

The price of admission to June's Cheney's event is $250, or $2000 if you want your picture taken with him.
