A new dental clinic in Hastings will help care for the teeth of those who might not otherwise be able to afford dental care.
A preventative dental hygiene clinic is now open for the summer at the Central Community College in Hastings. Dental students are providing a variety of services for anyone at a limited price.
Clinic supervisor, Wanda Cloet said because the clinic is focused on preventative measures, services will include cleanings, x-rays and fluoride treatments.
About 40 people were served at the clinic Tuesday.
The clinic will be open Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through July 13.
