The Gallup Organization says it is planning to add 230 jobs this year in Lincoln and Omaha.

The consulting and research company, best known for public opinion polls, said it will add 200 telephone interviewers at its call centers in Lincoln and Omaha. The other 30 jobs will be professional positions at the operational headquarters in downtown Omaha.

The company opened its Omaha headquarters last year with 500 employees and has plans to have up to 900 employees in two-to-four years.

Gallup currently employs 900 people at its Nebraska locations.
