Two people die in separate incidents in central Nebraska over the weekend.
The first accident happened Saturday morning northeast of Aurora. Hamilton County Sheriff's Department says 14-year-old Ben Strong was riding on his all-terrain vehicle when it collided with a trailer being towed by a pickup truck.
Strong was taken to a Lincoln hospital where he later died. Authorities are still investigating the accident.
In a second accident, a Sutton woman was killed in a single vehicle accident. Twenty-one year-old Shannon Griess was northbound on a county road five miles north of Sutton.
Griess drove onto the shoulder, overcorrected, and rolled into a ditch. She was ejected from her car. Clay County Sheriff's Department says she was not wearing a seat belt and that alcohol may have played a factor in the wreck.
