Stadium Construction

The Athletic Department for the Huskers says the stadium project is a little ahead of schedule. Old buildings are coming down so new ones can be built.

Boyd Epley with the Athletic Department says there will be a few changes this year that Husker fans need to know about. He says those who attend game will have to enter more on the south side of the stadium. Some fans will also have to use portable restrooms until new ones are up and running.

As for parking changes, the Athletic Department isn't sure whether the construction will affect parking on game days or not. They do know that by the time the 2005-2006 season is here, fans will be happy. Epley says, "It will be great for fans. We'll have a beautiful concourse and it will help our recruiting process."

The project is scheduled for completion in August of 2006.
