An overnight assault lands one man in the hospital, as police continue to search for the suspect.

According to Officer Katie Flood with Lincoln Police, the assault happened around 12:20 Monday morning, at 1027 Goodhue Blvd.

Flood said a 20-year-old victim was assaulted with an unknown glass object in the back of his lower neck.

Police are searching for a mixed race, possibly light skin black female. The girl is described to be about 18 to 19 years old, 5' 7" to 5' 8", weighing about 140 pounds.

Flood said the woman was last seen with blonde braided hair, a brown shirt, green pants and white shoes.
