It was a frantic situation for several passengers on a city bus Wednesday afternoon. A man on board claimed there was a bomb on the bus.

Antoinette Cox was driving the Startran bus; she says initially the man wouldn't sit still.

"He just seemed agitated." She said then he started yelling.

"He began to yell and scream that there was a bomb on the bus."

She says she pulled over as soon as she could. The bus driver ordered the man off of the bus, and then got the passengers off safely.

"It was scary."

Moments later, Lincoln Police, Fire, and Rescue swarmed the area near 12th and New Hampshire. No one was hurt. Police caught up with the man.

The bus driver says the man was carrying a white bag with him. Cox says it had clothes in it, not a bomb.
