Gage County authorities say a 14-month-old infant was killed in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday.

The Gage County Sheriff's Office and emergency crews responded to an accident at 66th Road and East Hoyt Road around 6:30 p.m.

According to a release from the Gage County Sheriff's office, a westbound vehicle ran a stop sign and collided with the driver's side of a southbound car.

The sheriff's office says though Tayten Buhr was belted into a child safety seat, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three other people remain hospitalized due to injuries from the crash.
