An 85-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries after he ran himself over with his SUV.
Police say he was leaving Lincoln Trap and Skeet Club Monday night after a board meeting.
They say he was backing his SUV with his door open so he could see better. That's when police say his foot slipped from the brake to the accelerator.
The 85-year-old fell out of the SUV and the front wheels rolled over him.
He was taken to Bryan West Campus with extensive injuries including open fractures to his leg and ankle.
