Claremont Park Suffers Fire Damage

A major fire caused over $300,000 worth of damage to a large portion of the Claremont Park Apartments just north of the UNL campus.
A newspaper deliveryperson discovered flames outside the apartment Saturday morning at 6:00 a.m. He then alerted the fire department. Many of the complexes residents were evacuated, but no one was injured.
Two individuals were cited for negligent smoking, they were given tickets and released.
