Lincoln police are reporting another home burglary during the daylight hours.
Captain Chris Peterson with the LPD said sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Monday, someone broke into a home in the area of 56th and Roose, near Van Dorn.
Peterson said the victim came home to discover his garage door open and the entire house ransacked. The victims reported missing a flat screen television, laptop computer, ipod and digital camera, among other items. Total loss is estimated at more than $3,000.
Peterson said a back window of the home was also broken out. He said this burglary could be related to other recent daytime burglaries.
"It is obvious that whoever went in this house, spent lots of time inside", Peterson said.
