Grain Stocks

Corn stocks stored in Nebraska as of June first totaled 342 million bushels, which is four percent less than the June first totals of a year ago.

The Nebraska Agricultural Statistics Service says of the total stored grain, 160 million bushels was being held on farms. That was three percent less than a year ago.

Soybeans stored across the state totaled 39.2 million bushels. That was up one percent from a year ago.

Wheat stored also was up with the June first total of 19.4 million bushels 16 percent higher than a year ago.

Stored sorghum was down 19 percent with this year's total of 11.7 million bushels held statewide.
